Blind Tasting

I’m pretty sure we all agree that taste is individual: you might be a fan of oaky-buttery Chardonnay while I might enjoy a glass of Albariño more.

BUT

learning and understanding why you like what you like might be the most important thing in your wine journey. This is where blind tasting steps in: you are approaching a wine in a completely unbiased way, no price tag, region, grape varietal, or label. Even though blind tasting may seem intimidating to non-professionals, I believe it’s the most natural approach to wine one can have. This is a photo from our blind tasting group of last week, reuniting once a month somewhere in Piemonte: it’s not just fun and incredibly humbling, it’s a way of sharing our experiences and build our local community.
