Provence and rosé
First day in Provence! Today we visited Chateau La Coste in Coteaux d’Aix, an incredible futuristic winery and art museum. Tadao Ando and Renzo Piano are among the many artists, the place also has a Michelin Star Restaurant and each art piece is conceived to be connected with the vineyards that surround the winery. A very interesting way to explore the relationship between multiple forms of art ???? We were not expecting any of this, Provence is way more advanced than we thought!
We then stopped in Aix-en-provence to see our brother-from-another-mother Benjamin, a Sommelier who has lived with us in California and worked with Chiara at Castello di Amorosa. How beautiful it is to live in a world-wide network of wine professionals!
The streets of Marseille after the rain have a distinctive smell. The sea, the boutiques, the many and different people who live there contribute to the most complex bouquet, impossibile to define. It’s a windy city, and the weather can change anytime. When the sun comes out, everything is bright and clear, and it almost looks like a new city.
Just like the greatest wines, in Marseille you never know what to expect.
